WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT WHEN I COME?
We are definitely a friendly bunch here at CBC. We strive to make you feel welcome and help you connect with God. We understand that going to any place new can be uncomfortable, that's why we try very hard to help you feel at home while you're with us.
We are a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural community that embraces the fact that among us, we have a representation of many nations, and we celebrate such diversity.
What should I wear?
Clothes. That’s our only request. We are much more concerned about what’s going on inside of a person, than what they are wearing on the outside. Most of our people show up in jeans! It's not a big deal, just come as you are.
What's the music like?
Full of energy! When you walk into our Sunday gathering, you will feel encouraged and pumped by the music. Our goal is to uplift your soul and provide ambience to help you connect to God!
Will I be asked to give money?
Every week we take up an offering. However, no one should feel obligated to give. We believe that giving is part of our personal and corporate worship, and it is a privilege for those who consider Church of the Beach Cities their home.
If you're visiting us, we are thrilled to have you, and your presence is already a gift to us!
How about my kids?
We have wonderful programs for children, ages 6 months to 5th grade, available during all services. Please check in as soon as you walk in!
